Adult Protective Services investigator · Medford, Oregon

The Collector Series cover for Cat Bozeman, Adult Protective Services investigator, Medford, Oregon

the why

She was 18 when she got her first tattoo — for the mother she lost at 13.

“I started getting tattooed at 18 in remembrance of my mother, who passed away when I was 13. The first couple of years I was collecting pieces that reminded me of her.”

the job

Cat has spent eleven years as a correctional officer, counselor, social worker, and now an Adult Protective Services investigator. She is heavily tattooed, and she works with the elder community every day.

“Being heavily tattooed and working with the population I do, I am looked at differently. But most people want to know my story, my why — and my tattoos open a door for connection.”
